These Terms govern your use of the Site and our tools, including the Double Glazing Cost Calculator (the “Calculator”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1) Who we are & what we do

Bestpricevalue is a quoting agency. We help UK homeowners:

  • understand market-average guide prices for windows, doors, bi-folds and related products; and

  • if requested, we match them with vetted installer partners who may provide quotes.

We are not a lender or a credit broker, and we do not make lending decisions. Finance figures in the Calculator are illustrative only.

2) Using the Calculator (estimates, not quotes)

  • Prices shown are guide estimates including VAT and, where indicated, installation.

  • Estimates are based on inputs you provide (sizes, materials, glazing, options) plus regional adjustments.

  • Real-world quotes vary by supplier, product specification, promotions, access, survey findings and timing.

  • Finance figures are illustrative only (e.g., deposit, APR, term) to help you plan. Actual finance—if you choose to apply—will depend on lenders’ terms and your status.

  • The Calculator may use local/session storage in your browser to remember your basket and region. You can clear this in your browser at any time.

3) Getting quotes from installer partners

If you click Get quotes or otherwise ask us to arrange quotes:

  • You authorise us to share your enquiry with up to [X] vetted installer partners so they can contact you.

  • We may receive a referral fee or commission from partners when you proceed. This does not increase the price you pay.

  • Partners are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own advice, surveys, quotes, contracts, workmanship, guarantees and after-sales support.

  • Any contract for products or installation is between you and the partner, not Bestpricevalue. Please read the partner’s terms carefully.

4) Eligibility & your responsibilities

  • The Site is intended for UK residents aged 18+.

  • Provide accurate information (sizes, materials, contact details).

  • Do not misuse the Site (e.g., no scraping, reverse engineering, automated queries beyond normal browser use, or security testing without our written consent).

  • You must not attempt to interfere with the Site, its servers, or other users’ experience.

5) Content, IP & licence

  • All content on the Site (text, UI, graphics, code, trademarks) is owned by us or our licensors.

  • We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Site for its intended purpose.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, translate, sell, or create derivative works from the Site or its content without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law (e.g., brief quotations with attribution).

6) Privacy, cookies & tracking

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookies & Tracking Policy, which explain how we use tools such as Complianz, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, Meta Pixel, Google Ads/DoubleClick and reCAPTCHA.

  • Non-essential analytics/marketing tags are consent-based and controlled via our cookie banner.

  • The Site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms apply.

Links to current policies are in the Site footer.

7) Third-party sites & tools

The Site may link to third-party services (e.g., Trustpilot, partners’ sites). We are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices. Use them at your own discretion.

8) Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Site and Calculator are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

  • Estimates are for guidance only and are not offers, quotes, financial advice or a guarantee of outcome or savings.

  • We do not control partners and are not liable for their acts, omissions, statements, quotes, workmanship or contracts.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

9) Limitation of liability

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. However, we will not be responsible for business losses.

Subject to the section above, and since the Site is provided free of charge, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Site shall be limited to the greater of £100 or the amount (if any) you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10) Indemnity (misuse)

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any loss, liability or expense arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our own breach or negligence.

11) Changes, suspension & availability

We may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site (including the Calculator) at any time for maintenance, improvements, changes in law, or other reasons. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes that negatively affect you.

12) Complaints & dispute resolution

If you have a concern, please contact info@bestpricevalue.com and we’ll try to resolve it.
You may also use the EU/UK Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for information and signposting. Use of ADR/ODR is voluntary.

13) Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.

14) General

  • If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

  • You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor or affiliate in connection with a reorganisation.

  • No waiver of any term is a continuing waiver unless stated in writing.

  • Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
